Falcons Win with Late Heroics
Karachi Falcons starter Amrus Mtembei took the mound against the Melbourne Meteors at Muhammad Ali Jinnah Stadium; and, when all was said and done, the right-hander led his team to an extra-inning, 7-6 win. The winner was Kateb Ouko in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Taymullah Hassan took the loss. The Falcons with just their 2nd win in 15 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

The Falcons got a clutch hit from right fielder Rafael Leeder. In the bottom of the 15th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Falcons.

Leeder called the extra-inning win a "confidence builder."
