Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Santo Domingo Palmchats and Puerto Rico Coqui.

The Santo Domingo Palmchats dumped the Puerto Rico Coqui, 5-3, in large part due to catcher Husayn Saeed. On the day, Saeed went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 for the Palmchats. The winner in relief was Adrian Dean. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings.

Elwiin Ottenhof, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2149 draft, helped out the Santo Domingo cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Santo Domingo manager Huck L. Berry. "It's usually not just one thing."

The loss puts Puerto Rico at 0-2.
