Sao Paulo Toucans starter António Moreno turned in an exceptional performance against the El Paso Thunderbirds at Toucans Ballpark, resulting in a Sao Paulo win, 4-2. The save was credited to Anthony Dalton, his 3rd. El Paso, now 4-12, continues its tough start.

Sao Paulo third baseman Chung Tai contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 11th hit of the season and put the Toucans ahead, 2-0.

"António was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Sao Paulo manager Casey Blake DeWitt.
