Los Angeles Stars starter Art Ball hurled his team past the Havana Dolphins, 4-1. The loss makes Havana 11-5.

Gérard Verdier, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2153, had a direct impact on the outcome. Verdier contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Los Angeles up, 4-1.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Ball.
