Beijing Grabs 3-1 Road Win

The rain did not keep Beijing and Black Forest from finishing their game.
Beijing registered a win at The Den by beating the Black Forest Foxes, 3-1. Pitcher La`nh Vu was one reason why the Emperors triumphed. Tom Davis, who finished 2nd in the IBL in saves with 42 in 2149, nailed down the save.
Josh Bence, who is tied for 9th in the IBL in bases on balls with 11, had a direct impact on the outcome. Bence contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Beijing up, 1-0.
"Watch and learn," said Bence. "This is what good pitching looks like."
The Foxes are now 6-10.
