Oslo Dealt 5-3 Defeat

The Rome Generals picked up a win at The Colosseum, downing the Oslo Voyageurs, 5-3. On the mound for Rome was right-hander Adrien Verger, who played a pivotal role in the win. Picking up his 1st save was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Roberto Lugo. At 2-0, the Generals have played well so far.
Rome right fielder Jin-oh Song contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a splitter to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the Generals ahead, 2-0.
"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Rome manager Tx Horns. "That's what Adrien is right now."
