Beijing Defeats Black Forest, 7-4
|
The Beijing Emperors picked up a win at The Den, taking down the Black Forest Foxes, 7-4. Starting pitcher Izaac Kulovana was a big reason why. Kulovana, now 3-1, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 4, and allowing 4 runs. The Foxes drop to 7-11.
Beijing relied on the hitting of Rodrige Siqueira to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Emperors on top, 3-0. For the game, Siqueira had 1 triple and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"My job is to go out and execute," said Kulovana.
