Samurai Top Falcons, 1-0, Behind Kulovana
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Tokyo Samurai and the Karachi Falcons, pitcher Izaac Kulovana was the difference between victory and defeat. The Tokyo right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 1-0 Samurai win. Pedro Peña collected his 1st save. Tokyo, with the win, is 2-0.
Tokyo starter Izaac Kulovana was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"I'm happy we won," said Kulovana. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
