Havana Sent Home with 6-1 Loss
The Chicago Beefs topped the Havana Dolphins, 6-1, in Americas Baseball League action at Beefs Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Chicago pitcher and Wladyslawowo, Poland, native Dodek Wolotka. Losses have been few and far between for the Dolphins, now 14-6.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Esteban Martínez didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Havana trailing 3-1, Martínez retired Abdul-Wahhab bin Idris to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Martínez, with a wink.
