Runs were plentiful at Ballpark of San Juan.

The Puerto Rico Coqui defeated the El Paso Thunderbirds, 11-9, at Ballpark of San Juan. Puerto Rico left fielder Octávio Cicia had a superb performance. He was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Now 4-16, the 2155 Thunderbirds have played a subpar brand of baseball so far.

Cicia contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Puerto Rico get the win.
