The Tokyo Samurai received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Izaac Kulovana, allowing them to shoot down the Cairo Pharaohs, 3-1. The win puts Tokyo at 12-9.

Tokyo took a 3-1 lead on Khaldun Kanja's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Kanja hit in the top of the ninth, left Cairo pitcher Britt Leonard visibly frustrated.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager J Stell.
