Giacomo Cafagna pitched a gem to lead Daegu to victory over the Oslo Voyageurs, 4-1. Daegu reliever Alastair Bacon was the winner. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Matt Gentry. Wilson Caimol finished to wrap up his 6th save.

Daegu took a 3-1 lead on Jay Samelo's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Samelo hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Oslo pitcher Matt Gentry visibly frustrated.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Samelo.

With the loss, Oslo drops to 11-11.
