Villa Hits Two Dingers, Fitzies Win, 12-7
Tokyo and Black Forest put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Tokyo Fitzies topped the Black Forest Foxes, 12-7, at Fitzies Stadium. Tokyo right fielder José Villa was a spark plug for the offense. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win went to Ethan Gloyn in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jae-myung Lee took the loss.

The Foxes had been locked in a 7-7 tie with the Fitzies going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the slick-fielding third baseman Jaromir Cermaka came to the plate. Cermaka hit a 3-run home run on a 1-2 slider from Black Forest hurler Jae-myung Lee. It was Cermaka's 4th home run of the year.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager .

The Foxes fall to 9-13 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2151 season.
