Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Santo Domingo Palmchats and Los Angeles Stars.

No one was more impactful than Jack Mitchell in the 6-4 Santo Domingo win over Los Angeles. Mitchell, who finished 3rd in the ABL in hits with 208 in 2149, was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The loss puts Los Angeles at 13-11.

Had Mitchell not come through in the top of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Mitchell hit a grand slam home run. The Palmchats took the lead, 5-4, and never looked back.

Santo Domingo manager Huck L. Berry called it "a good, solid win."
