The Puerto Rico Coqui topped the Mexico City Aztecs, 5-1, in Americas Baseball League action at Ballpark of San Juan. The standout performance belonged to Puerto Rico pitcher and Badin, Pakistan, native Sher Rathore. The Aztecs, now 9-15, continue their sluggish start.

Karim Garcia, who finished 5th in the IBL in doubles with 40 in 2148, helped out the Puerto Rico cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Garcia.
