The Havana Dolphins powered past the Sao Paulo Toucans, 9-2, at El Estadio Latinoamericano. Raúl Carranza provided some of the pop. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. Havana, now 3-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

Havana grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Carranza hit a grand slam home run off Alfonso Vásquez. His 2nd home run of the season put the Dolphins out in front, 6-2.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Casey Blake DeWitt.
