The rain did not keep Tokyo and Black Forest from finishing their game.

The Tokyo Samurai locked up a win at The Den, knocking off the Black Forest Foxes, 7-2. On the mound for Tokyo was right-hander Javier Gómez. He played a major role in the triumph. Gómez went the distance for Tokyo. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits.

With Tokyo trailing 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Gómez hit a 2-run single off Black Forest hurler Daw Gacharia. It was the 2nd hit of the season for Gómez and put his team ahead, 2-1.

"Javier did a good job of managing their lineup," said Tokyo manager Jace 0221.

The Foxes fall to 11-15 and continue their uneven start to the 2155 season.
