Miguel Peña impressed in the 7-3 Daegu win over Tokyo. Peña, who led the IBL in runs with 104 in 2145, was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. The loss puts Tokyo at 13-13.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Philippe Mollet? The Daegu left fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Monks on top, 4-2. For the game, Mollet had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It feels good to get this one," Mollet told the Daegu Gazette.
