Jaguars Rally to Nose Past Santo Domingo
In a low-scoring contest between the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars and the Santo Domingo Palmchats, Javier Villegas, who finished 3rd in the ABL in strikeouts with 187 in 2152, proved to be the difference. The Rio de Janeiro left-hander earned props for his performance in the 1-0 Jaguars win. The loss makes Santo Domingo 14-13.

The Jaguars got a clutch hit from center fielder Naruhiko Goto. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Jaguars.

Goto said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
