Led by Yi-lin Han, the Beijing Emperors defeated the Paris Fleur-de-Lis, 6-5, in 12 innings. Han was 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Emperors. Chong-yee Ming, who is a three-time All-Star, earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. The loss drops Paris to 2-1.

Han had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a full count fastball from Kevin Dura, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Emperors a 6-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Han.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Emperors manager Kev In.
