Daegu Stumbles Again, Falls, 5-3, to Tokyo
Wet weather did not postpone the Tokyo-Daegu ballgame.

The Tokyo Samurai defeated the Daegu Monks, 5-3, in Intercontinental Baseball League action at Fitzies Stadium. Ari Lueger pulled his weight. The 10-year veteran was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Monks fall to 10-19 and continue their lackluster start to the 2155 season.

With Tokyo leading 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Lueger hit a run-scoring single off Daegu hurler Kader Rassul. It was the 23rd hit of the season for Lueger and put his team ahead, 5-3.

"We just can't get over the hump," said losing manager R Beadle.
