Aztecs Send Los Angeles Home with 11-1 Loss
Mexico City pitcher Jesús Flores had a large part in his team beating the Los Angeles Stars, 11-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Aztecs, now 21-9, have been playing some good baseball.

Mexico City second baseman Zhao-ji Zheng contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 30th hit of the season and put the Aztecs ahead, 3-1.

"Jesús pitched like a champ," said Mexico City manager Square Drive.
