Loewe scores 3 runs to Fuel Fleur-de-Lis Offense
|
The game between Paris and Black Forest is in the books, despite a little rain.
Pengel Loewe was a major factor in the 9-1 Paris win over Black Forest. The Fleur-de-Lis first baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Lynn Moore got the win, improving to 2-2. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 9 hits and 1 run, while striking out 6 and walking 1.
Early in the game, Loewe had a 2-run home run for Paris. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Fleur-de-Lis on top, 2-0.
"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager DP Woodford.
The Foxes, 10-20, continue their poor start to the 2151 campaign.
