Karachi Gets 7-2 Win
|
The 3-hit performance of Montae Ricco, who led the IBL in triples with 17 last year, helped the Karachi Falcons beat the Melbourne Meteors, 7-2. Melbourne is 16-15 after the loss.
Karachi used a well-timed hit by James Weatherhead to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Falcons ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Ricco.
