Win Streak Now at 6 for Fleur-de-Lis

With pitcher Terry Humphries leading the charge, the Paris Fleur-de-Lis defeated the Cairo Pharaohs, 4-2, at Stade de France. Humphries, who is tied for 9th in the IBL with a .331 batting average, threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Bartolo Hasni closed the game out for Paris, earning his 3rd save. Paris raised its record to 19-13 with the win.
Paris right fielder Abdullah Engevik contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 14th hit of the season and put the Fleur-de-Lis ahead, 3-2.
"We've been playing some good baseball," Engevik told the Paris Citizen. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
