Generals Pin 4-1 Loss on Black Forest
|
Jorge Rosales pitched a gem to lead Rome to victory over the Black Forest Foxes, 4-1. Earning his 9th save of the year was Roberto Lugo. The 4th-place Generals have won 4 straight.
Right Fielder Maks Manahov made an impact for Rome, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Gilg Koch in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Manahov was 2 for 3 with a double.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Rosales.
