Palmchats Beat Visiting Toucans, 3-2
|
Starting pitcher Jaime Torres gave the Santo Domingo Palmchats a rock-solid effort. The Texcoco, Mexico native helped his team defeat the Sao Paulo Toucans, 3-2, at Estadio Santo Domingo. In 7 innings, Torres surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. With the win, the Palmchats have a record of 18-17.
