In a low-scoring tilt between the Tokyo Fitzies and the Paris Fleur-de-Lis, Gustave Le Floch, who is tied for 2nd in the IBL in wins with 4, was the difference-maker. The Tokyo right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Britt Leonard got the save, the 15th for him this season. The win gives Tokyo a season record of 23-12.

Salim Kakazai came through with a big-time hit for Tokyo. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Le Floch.
