Beefs Reel Off Another Win
The Chicago Beefs and Puerto Rico Coqui played an exciting game.

The Chicago Beefs picked up a win at Beefs Stadium, dropping the Puerto Rico Coqui, 4-3. La`nh Vu, who finished 2nd in the IBL in wins with 16 in 2151, was the difference-maker. Vu yielded 3 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 11-4. Tiljad Mbizi earned the save, his 23rd, for the Beefs.

Joshua Etheridge helped out the Chicago cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Vu.
