The Chicago Beefs powered past the Detroit Blue Gills, 13-7, at Detroit Ballpark. Rodrige Siqueira provided some of the pop. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 6. Chicago has won 9 consecutive games.

Chicago used the timely hitting of Georges Imbert to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Beefs on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
