The Black Forest Foxes defeated the Tokyo Fitzies, 3-2, at Fitzies Stadium. Black Forest was led by 2148 Position Player of the Year Award winner Abdul Salam Durrani, who went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Their 40-44 record puts the Foxes third in the Intercontinental Baseball League Afro-European Division.

Durrani had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-2 slider from Marcel Ledru, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Foxes a 3-1 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Durrani.

"Against this team here, fangs out late in the game, it's nice to beat them," said Black Forest skipper DP Woodford.
