Bullock Slugs Palmchats to 8-7 Win
Santo Domingo first baseman Rory Bullock picked up 6 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Detroit Blue Gills, 8-7. Reliever Daniel Galván picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Osman Sumbatashvili, who finished 5th in the ABL in saves with 35 last year, took the loss. Kil-hyun Kim notched his 6th save of the season.

Bullock contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Santo Domingo in the top of the ninth. With his team trailing 7-6, Bullock took a fastball from Osman Sumbatashvili and stroked the home run to center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Palmchats to leap in front, 8-7.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Bullock said. "We did a good job of that today."

With the victory, the Palmchats upped their record to 19-17.
