Melbourne Defeated by Tokyo, 4-2
|
Tokyo Fitzies starter Mathias Lefort found his groove in his team's 4-2 win over the Melbourne Meteors. The setback makes Melbourne 40-45.
Fermín Alonso, the 4th overall pick in the 2148 draft, took Melbourne hurler Pavlya Lazarenko deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 3-run home run put the Fitzies on top, 3-0. In all, Alonso had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"We put together a nice win," Alonso said.
