The Sao Paulo Toucans got a strong performance from pitcher António Moreno, who stymied the Rio de Janeiro offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Toucans Ballpark. In 7 innings, Moreno surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Sao Paulo is now 45-43, Rio de Janeiro 48-40.
