Mexico City catcher Tristan Ribeiro had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Ribeiro was 2 for 2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs, even as Los Angeles beat the Aztecs, 5-4. Los Angeles reliever Tom Davis was the winner. His record is now 2-3. The losing pitcher was Joseph Muller. At 38-51, the Stars claim 4th place in the Americas Baseball League North American Division.

Los Angeles got a knockout punch from Brenden Mathaathi. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
