Behind an impressive start by Bill Horne, Cairo beat Oslo, 5-2. Mario Ghiberti got the save, the 1st for him this season. Cairo has now won 4 straight.

The Pharaohs got a big at-bat from catcher Francisco Pereira. For the game, Pereira went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave Cairo a 3-1 lead.
