Talal Yunus never let Havana get something going. The Santo Domingo left-hander commanded his changeup in pitching the Palmchats to a 5-1 win. Kil-hyun Kim notched his 18th save in 23 chances. The Palmchats improved their record to 41-51 with the win over Havana.
The Palmchats got a big at-bat from left fielder Theron Brown. For the game, Brown was 1-3 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 3rd double of the season gave Santo Domingo a 3-1 lead.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Yunus.
