Aztecs Handed 3-2 Loss by Rio de Janeiro
|
The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars tallied a win at Rio de Janeiro Grounds, throttling the Mexico City Aztecs, 3-2. Starting pitcher José Torres was a big reason for his team's success. Torres, now 6-8, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Apasanka Shally earned the save for Rio de Janeiro, his 5th.
