Frandson Hittin' on All Cylinders
Getting 4 hits is a good day by any measure, but when those include a single, double, triple and a home run -- that's something special. Sern Frandson's day was a special one.

The third baseman hit for the cycle to spark the 12-1 Oslo Voyageurs victory over the Tokyo Fitzies at Fitzies Stadium. Oslo manager Marq Ualler said he thought the whole lineup looked good in batting practice, but had not been expecting anything extraordinary from Frandson in particular.

"Sern caught me by surprise today," the skipper said. "He looked good before the game, but man, he looked unbelievable during it."

For the day, Frandson finished with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored to go with his 4 hits.

Sern Frandson doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Gustave Le Floch in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Thus far this season in 58 games, Frandson is batting .338 with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 23 hits in 68 at-bats.
