Cairo right-hander Ciro Galasso pitched his team to victory over the Daegu Monks at Pharaohs Ballpark. The final score was 5-3. Galasso picked up the win for Cairo, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 7-9. Cairo is now 48-47.

Avatsara Kesiraju had a big 2-run double for the Pharaohs in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Cairo leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a changeup from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Sam Li and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 29th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pharaohs ahead, 4-0.

"Ciro was dictating to their hitters," said Cairo manager J Stell.
