Rome parlayed a decent outing from starter John Collier into a solid win over the Karachi Falcons. The final score was 5-2. Collier yielded 2 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 2. His record improves to 5-7. Earning his 23rd save of the year was Roberto Lugo.

Misa Omeragic had a big 2-run home run for the Generals in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Rome leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a slider from Amrus Mtembei, who finished 4th in the IBL in innings pitched with 232.2 in 2150, and swatted a home run to right. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Generals ahead, 5-2.

"We had a good game plan," Collier said, "and we were able to execute it."

The Generals saw their record improve to 45-51.
