The Mexico City Aztecs picked up a win at Toucans Ballpark, knocking off the Sao Paulo Toucans, 3-2, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Mariano Ochoa played a key role in the triumph. Earning his 11th save of the year was Joseph Muller. The victory gives Mexico City a record of 25-12.

Ochoa was effective against the Toucans, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Sao Paulo to just 2 runs on 4 hits over 9 innings.

"Mariano was bobbing and weaving the whole game," said Mexico City manager Square Drive.
