Though the conditions were not ideal, the Los Angeles Stars and Havana Dolphins came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Jaromir Cermaka led Los Angeles to a win over Havana. The final score was 7-5. The shortstop collected 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Los Angeles pitcher Daniel Tejano got the win, upping his record to 2-1. Tony Gutiérrez got the loss. Clodio Castanhedo recorded the save, his 19th.

Los Angeles used a clutch at-bat from Junji Yoshino to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Stars ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Stars manager Alex G. "This one was nice to get."
