In a close game at Muhammad Ali Jinnah Stadium, the Cairo Pharaohs edged the Karachi Falcons, 3-2. Cairo second baseman Wattas Mwenda stood apart with his performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Carlos Mitchinson got credit for the save for Cairo. It was his 17th of the year. Cairo is now 51-47.

In the top of the third, Mwenda had a 2-run home run for Cairo. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Pharaohs on top, 2-0.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Karachi manager Slu Baseball.
