Lang Hits Two Dingers, Jaguars Win, 6-2
|
Hsin Lang led the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars to a nifty 6-2 win over the Chicago Beefs. The Rio de Janeiro shortstop was a force of nature. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. In-kwon Yun, who is tied for 9th in the ABL in wins with 9, was the winner. He's now 9-4. The loser was La`nh Vu. The Jaguars saw their record improve to 58-43.
Early in the game, Lang had a 2-run home run for Rio de Janeiro. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Jaguars on top, 2-0.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Rio de Janeiro manager Echo 127.
