The Chicago Beefs bested the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars by a score of 8-6, with first baseman Joshua Etheridge getting the main credit. On the day, Etheridge went 2 for 2 with a triple and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Beefs. The Beefs upped their record to 63-39.

Rodrige Siqueira hit a bases-clearing double off Jhong-shun Lee in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Beefs in front, 7-5. In addition to the double, Siqueira had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

Chicago manager Dill On was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
