The Los Angeles Stars polished off the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars by the score of 6-3. The largest share of the credit belonged to right fielder Gérard Verdier. Verdier went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Stars. Maximino Trapa, who finished 2nd in the ABL in innings pitched with 233.0 in 2149, was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.
