Jaguars Resilient in 6-5 Win Over Sao Paulo
Yasukazu Mizutani had a good game, but he could not keep the Sao Paulo Toucans from falling, 6-5, to the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars at Rio de Janeiro Grounds. The Sao Paulo first baseman was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 in the loss. The Jaguars now have a mark of 60-46.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Rio de Janeiro. That's when Lino Bispo hit a 2-run double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Anthony Dalton to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Bispo said in his postgame press conference.
