The Havana Dolphins reigned over the Chicago Beefs in damp conditions.

Rens Buizer, who finished 5th in the ABL in strikeouts with 166 in 2152, had a strong outing for the Havana Dolphins against the Chicago Beefs at El Estadio Latinoamericano. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Kwan-yew Lei picked up the save, his 21st.

Havana left fielder Shafiq Joyo contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 86th hit of the season and put the Dolphins ahead, 3-2.

After the game, Havana manager Dan Farnell applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.

The second-place Dolphins are 60-46.
