Black Forest left fielder Abdul Salam Durrani picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Cairo Pharaohs, 5-4. Black Forest reliever Bob Aguilar snagged the win, upping his record to 4-4. Mario Ghiberti shouldered the loss. The save was credited to Wilson Rodríguez, his 25th.

Ewan Brouard, who is tied for 5th in the IBL in hits with 127, aided the Black Forest cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4 with a double.

Durrani attributed the win to his team's "grittiness."
